For context because people are romanticizing this in the comments: this is real footage from a protest that was escalated by police, and in the process this girl was injured in a way where moving was dangerous until help arrived (can’t remember the specific injury, sorry). Her boyfriend was trying to keep her calm but they were both freaking the fuck out, and she asked him to kiss her to try and stave off a full blown panic attack.
They weren’t “overcome with passion despite the chaos around them” or whatever the fuck. They weren’t posing for some kind of #deep statement about love and war.
They were a stone’s throw away from an increasingly violent conflict and fucking terrified.
